In October of 2014, I hit my lowest point.
I was fired after twelve years at a job I gave everything to. My eleventh child was on the way. And I had no clear path forward. We packed up our family of twelve and moved back into a 1,200 sq ft cabin — four girls in one room, six boys in the other.
The walls were closing in. The pressure was crushing. I was exhausted, emotionally distant, and spiritually numb.
I thought I was a provider. But in truth…
I had abandoned the throne God gave me.
